Sigs Reunion CTCRM - 04 July 26

On 4 July I attended a Sigs Reunion at CTC (dating back to my SQ prior to going SC).  Two of my squad mates (pictured), who also became S3s, attended along with our Graham Easthope and Mick Willis.  Apparently, Signallers are now known as Digital Warriors.

I had a light bulb moment and negotiated with the WO1 organiser

His Committee agreed to provide a copy of my book "Bootneck Dits" to each attendee in their “goody bag”.  Some 160 former Signallers and Tels Techs attended at CTC and, in agreement with the WO1, a percentage of the book's profit was earmarked for RMA-TRMC.

The sum was rounded up and approx £4 per book (£650) was presented to the RMA-TRMC.

Not the usual fundraising method of bucket shaking or yomping but just as effective.
