Paul Jobling is happy to report; “My "Victory-80" Challenge is finished. I've cycled a total of 803 miles since VE-Day 80 and finished on Armed Forces Day.” The whole challenge has been inspiring on a personal note and great fun. The cycling is great exercise and has improved my health and well-being enormously.
My supporters have been unbelievably generous. Fifty six donors have enabled me to raise and incredible £1283 for RMA The Royal Marines Charity. (TRMC) Every donation into my "Just-giving" page was like an adrenaline boost to spur me on. I want to thank each and every one of you for your generosity and support.
On occasions I battled the wind and rain, busy roads and a "near-miss" when I was called a very rude name from the window of a transit van. I got stranded miles from home with a puncture and I met the end of the road en- route to Hengisbury Head!
The support I have received from TRMC, RMA Poole and District Branch, family and friends has been exceptional so thank you all again. Jobbers!
