It has been a week of reflection for the branch, beginning with the Falklands parade on Saturday, 14 June. Members and veterans from all over Dorset gathered to honour the 255 members of the Falklands Task Force who did not make it back. The sombre ceremony was filled with heartfelt tributes, as people came together to remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who served. Wreaths were laid, and a minute's silence was observed, allowing attendees to reflect on the profound impact of the conflict.
Colonel David JL Swann CBE DL said the following

Colonel Swann, in the capacity of the King's representative, gave the following tribute.
In my capacity today as a representative of the County of Dorset and our sovereign King, we gather to pay tribute to all those who embarked on their journey south on April 3, 1982, and served with distinction during the Falklands War. We honour those who did not return and acknowledge the Falkland veterans present with us today who understand their loss, sacrifice and service.
Our heartfelt recognition is extended to the brave members of the Royal Marines, the Royal Navy, and the Special Boat Service who left from Poole but did not return, alongside the 255 British service personnel who lost their lives in this conflict.
We cherish the memory of the Landing Craft Crew of Foxtrot Four:
CSgt Brian Johnson QGM
Sgt Ronald Rotheram
Mne Anthony Rundle
Mne Robert Griffin
MEA(P)1 Alexander James
AI/MEM David Miller
These individuals were tragically killed on June 8, 1982, and have been missing at sea but not forgotten for 43 years.
We also honour Sergeant Ian 'Kiwi' Hunt of the Special Boat Service, who lost his life on June 2 during an exchange of gunfire with an SAS patrol near Teal, Falklands.
And
We remember MEM Stephen Ford, who was killed on May 22, 1982, when an Argentine aircraft attacked and sank HMS Ardent, resulting in the deaths of 22 sailors aboard.

On Sunday 23 Jun, three members of the branch paraded at West Bexington to remember the legacy of Cpl Neal Blain a remarkable Man who lived life to the full and achieved so much.
The chairman read out the following
Neal Blain, friend and brother, never forgotten.
His laughter brightened the darkest days, and his unwavering support was a constant source of strength. The memories we shared are cherished treasures, each moment a testament to the bond we held so dear.
Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in our hearts, guiding us with his warmth and wisdom. We honour his legacy by carrying forward his kindness and love, ensuring that his light continues to shine brightly in our lives.
